Kathmandu, Feb-3 News: Nepal Tarai Madhes Democratic Party (TMDP) Chairman Mahantha Thakur has said that the ongoing agitation in the Terai region would not be halted until the government addressed the demands of the Madhes-based parties.
He made the statement during a press conference, reports The Kathmandu Times.
The TMDP Chairman said that the blockade at the border check points will not be lifted until the government brings clear view regarding demarcation of federal boundaries.
Thakur said that the Government was trying to defame the ongoing agitation by portraying it as anti-nationalist.
He added that United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) would made public more protest programmes in the next meeting.
Thakur accused the government of publicising wrong information against India at the International level and made it clear that they were not against the dialogue.
