Drone strike kills Tehreek-e-Taliban fighters in Afghanistan


Karachi, Feb-3 News: At least 18 fighters of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan have been killed in a drone strike on Afghanistan’s Paktiya province.

Afghan officials confirmed that the Pakistani Taliban was killed in the latest strike by an unmanned aircraft in the Pak-Afghan border areas.

The Express Tribune reported that the militants were heading to the border region in Afghanistan when the drones rained down missiles on them in Gomal district.

The militants killed were from South Waziristan,14 men from the Mehsud tribe and four from the Ahmadzai Wazir tribe.
